Tunesday...

I should have posted yesterday but school work and dance has been catching up with me, and I was just too busy. Here's my song of the week, a new release by Dommin, an amazing band :))))

Think Happy...5/52...

I think it's official that I'm too lazy for my own good. Or I could just be described as busy...I like that better let's go with that. I'm a very busy person. This week has been very good, I think.

1. On Tuesday I auditioned for Cats the Musical and got through :)

2. On Wednesday evening I found out that I got cast as Victoria, my dream role! She's the ballet cat, and has a solo :)

3. On Saturday I went to my normal dance classes after a week off for the school holidays. This is me and my bestfriend, Hannah, in our lunch break.

4. On Sunday I had Cats rehearsals, and we were learning this song and I get a three-word duet with a girl called Megan, and our words are 'familiar with candle'. I think we sound really good singing together!
We also started learning this song/chant to give us a break from the first one. I didn't realise I'd like doing theatre as much as I do!!


Sorry for this post being late, but I haven't had a single free minute, what with all of my rehearsals!

Cats the Musical...

I got through the auditions yesterday!! And guess who I've been cast as??



Victoria the White Cat!!!

 

 

I'm so happy! When I was looking through the characters list before the audition, Victoria really stood out for me, and now I get to perform as her!!

I don't have to sing any solos, luckily, and she's one of the lead dancers, and she has a solo!

Two of my friends are choreographing the musical, and one of them says he has a good idea for my solo already! Rehearsals last for 3 hours every Sunday, starting this weekend, so I'm all ready to go!

Tunesday...

It's Tuesday so I'm back with another song! But today has a twist; I'm hopefully auditioning to be part of CATS the Musical tonight, and this is my favourite character from it :) Wish me luck!!

Firework Party and Think Happy...4/52...

This week I've been on holiday from school and it's just been amazing. But I'll start with tonight first :)

My family and I went to my nan and granddad's house just round the corner to watch fireworks we'd bought. These are some of my favourite photos :)

1. It was the holidays!!

2. I met with Lauren, who I haven't seen in over a year!

3. I met with Nikita, who I haven't seen in months!

4. I met with Greg, who I hadn't seen EVER!

5. I did a ballet performance, and some girls from school were watching.

6. I got to see Hannah, and the little Awang sisters :))

7. I saw amazing fireworks :)

8. I've been on webcam with Greg almost every day!

Happy November!...

It seems as though this year has gone extremely fast, and it's now almost Christmas! Has everyone been keeping with their new years resolutions? I set myself two and I've kept them!

The weather today has been really quite pleasant. I mean, it was cloudy, but it was also surprisingly warm!

I went to the cinema with my brothers and mum to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. I personally don't think it was as good as the first movie, but it was good nonetheless.

Later, in the afternoon, I met up with my friend Greg for the first time, and he's so tall! Haha :) We met up with another of my friends, Milli, and walked her dog with her :)

So overall, a great day :) How was yours?

Autumn Walk...

Yesterday saw some beautiful weather in the UK, and I also met up with my friend Lauren, who I haven't seen in more than a year. Because the weather was so nice, we decided to take a walk.

First off, we walked around the back roads to the church. I love the old stones it's made of.

 

At the side of the church is a farmyard with a farmhouse, old farm buildings and a car park for the church itself. And leading off from the yard are a couple of fields. The zoom on my camera is pretty good, as you can see in the picture above.

 

 

We took a wander down the canal at this point, and the boats were as pretty as always.

 

 

The sky wasn't perfect, I must admit, but most of the time it was pure blue with only a few puffy clouds.

 

 

The sky started clouding over as we were almost back home, but we still had a lot of photo opportunities :)

 

 

Looking back the way we'd just walked, this boat was slightly lopsided!

 

 



I really love this picture! The colours matched the boat, and they were just sitting there asking for a photo. Little did I know.... 

 

...that Lauren had found this little beauty resting on top of the same barge! She (I don't know if it was a she or a he) was so photogenic, and also so very friendly!

 

 





Walking back along the Moor's Lane, we said hello to the sheep...but they didn't seem very interested in us at all :(

The light was gorgeous at this point so I just couldn't resist this shot!

 

Almost home now...



 



And then we were home. This sign is so much ignored ;)

 

Back home, once Lauren had left, I was talking to Greg on webcam all evening. Such a lovely day :)

I have been a little busy lately, what with the school holidays coming round and meeting with friends :)

Hot chocolate...

It's been so cold recently, with the clocks going back and the so-called 'storm' we were supposed-to-but-didn't-get in the UK.

And as it so happens, the yesterday I was having an excessively long conversation with one of my friends, Greg, about hot chocolate. The result of this was me making myself one and him being jealous.

It was just what I needed to warm me up, so would you like to see how I make them?? I'll post a tutorial tomorrow or Wednesday, if you'd like :)

Think Happy...3/52...

How has everyone's week been? Mine has been a mixture of both up and downs :)

1. I've made great progress in designing an amigurumi for a competition! I'll make sure to post a link when the voting opens :)

2. I had some great photo opportunities with the little girls I teach in ballet :)

3. I found out that I'm performing at a retirement home for the lovely elderly people next Saturday :) I'm strangely excited!
